Why Sheepdog Self-Protection?

Sheepdog Self Protection Inc strives to provide the best training possible to give participants the knowledge and tools they need to protect themselves and their loved ones from “the wolf”. Our motto is “enlighten not frighten”. We have no desire to scare people straight but to instead educate participants on the reality of the society we live in and provide them with the skills that can help them be “safer.” Yes, “safer”. Nothing is 100% Safe.

We use the phrase “Sheepdog” as they are the protectors; parents, teachers, coaches, first responders. The Sheepdogs have a deep love for their loved ones, fellow citizens, and anyone under their watch. They live to protect the flock and prepare to confront “the wolf” if evil ever presents itself.

One does not need to be an adult to be a sheepdog. Our children carry many characteristics, some better than adults, to protect themselves from the wolves. Our goal is to enlighten children about the characteristics they already harness, educate them on situational awareness (not “stranger danger”), and to trust their instincts.

In many cases people wait until they have become a victim before taking the initiative to seek training. Think of the phrase “a second is a lifetime”. Why wait to take the initiative when that one second could be too late. Why wait to take the initiative when that one second could be the difference of kissing your children goodnight.

Take the Initiative. Be the Sheepdog. We promise you will never look back.
